Say Cheese

Brinley's new favorite thing to do is say "Cheese". Over Christmas she learned that if there is a camera in front of her, she should smile. Well, she does the cheesiest smile.. She even says the word cheese. So now if you want to take a picture of her, you have to sneak up on her because if she sees the camera she will say cheese and give us the cheesiest smile you have ever seen.

Favorite Place to Go

If I ever need to look for Brinley I know right where to go.. She will take out all of the lids that I put in our kitchen drawer and climb into it. She will just sit there and thinks she is so big.

Road Trip

This last weekend we went to Rexburg, ID for our niece's baby blessing. The ride there actually went pretty well, Baby Einstein can work wonders in the car. But for about the last hour Brinley was getting a little restless and wanted to get out of her carseat. Luckily uncle Justin came to the rescue. He let her listen to some songs on his Ipod with him and she was in heaven. It kept her quiet and entertained for the entire last hour. Not a peep out of her unless she dropped the headphone, when we would hear "uh-oh".

Happy New Year

2007 went by in the blink of an eye.. Hopefully 2008 will be just a great as last year. For new years we went to Kelly and Melissa Gray's house for a party. We took Brinley with us, which was fun but also hard since we didn't have anywhere to put her down for bed. She ended up falling asleep on my lap, poor thing. But we had blast. Happy New Year!!

Snow Days

At first, Brinley wasn't so sure about the snow.. But after a while she loved it.. We put her in her little snowsuit and she was off. My brother has loved being able to drag her around on his sled (which she loved). She even wanted to go outside to help her dad shovel the snow off the driveway. After a while her fingers got too cold and she was not a happy camper and wanted to come back in and take a bath.

Christmas

Christmas was a blast this year. Last year Brinley was only two months old. This year it was fun to be able to watch her open her presents and say " Oh Wow" to everything she got. She thought every present was hers. As soon as she saw Darren and I open a present without her helping she would get mad. She also had fun playing with all ofher cousins that were in town..
