Classic Water Park

Darren had to work in South Jordan on Saturday so I called my sister in law to see what she was up to.  They were going to go to the Classic Water Park in Sandy so we went with them and the kids had such a blast!! I didn't even know the place existed but it sure was fun!

Beckham was so happy the whole time.  He slept most of the time, but when he was awake he was so happy, it was great!

Me and the kids!! We sure wish daddy could have gone!

Brinley in her floaties, She loves that she can swim all by herself with them.  She doesn't want anyone to help her..

Brin and her cousin Tyler, she followed him around everywhere.

Josh, Brinley and Tyler!!

This waterslide was seriously so fast.  Brinley wasn't so sure about whether or not she wanted to go down.  But she kept going over and over again.

This is the waterslide that she liked the best.  After each time going down she would say "agin, agin"  Here is a video of Brin and I going down... so much fun!

After the waterpark we went to Braden and Melissa's and hung out there.  Brinley was so tired after a day of playing and decided to take a rest.. I love this picture..

Brinley and Tyler playing cars together.  My dad would get a kick out of the car noises she was making.. She is really good a them.  Thanks for a fun day!!

Swimming Lessons

This is Brinley at her swimming lessons.  She absolutely loves the pool!! She has been doing so good and will jump off of anything.  She wakes up every morning asking if she can go to the pool. I don't know what I am going to do when winter comes...

Family Pictures

We had family pictures taken this week and they turned out so good.  Both kids were really the for the majority of the time.  There are a ton of great ones, but here are just a few of my favorite!

Our Dating Story...

1 - Where did you meet your husband?
I met my wonderful husband working at Affiliated Realty Group.. He actually was trying to set me up with his brother, Aaron, who was about to come home from his mission.

2 - What was the first thing you said to your husband?
I think it was either "Where did you get the nickname Birddog?" or something about not being able to go out with his brother cause I was dating someone else.

3 - Where was your first date?
We went up American Fork canyon for a nice spring drive, then to his house in Provo where we just hung out and talked, then to Magleby's Fresh for dinner and then back to his house where we watched The Last of the Mohicans.

4 - Where was your first kiss?
On the couch at his house on our first date.. I kissed him and let's just say I didn't get to see the whole movie that night...

5 - How long did you date for?
We started dating in May of 2005 and got engaged in September 2005

6 - Where did you get engaged?
That night we went to Clark's Planetarium, and then out to dinner at PF Changs.  We started to drive home from Salt Lake and then Darren turned around and we went to the Salt Lake City Temple.  We were sitting there talking about the importance of the temple where out of nowhere a couple started singing the hymn "All Creatures of our God and King" (which was not planned) and so Darren decided it was the perfect time. He got down on one knee and proposed.  It was really very romantic!

7 - When and where were you married?
Darren and I were married on November 5 2005 in the Salt Lake City Temple
8 - How did the reception go?
It was perfect.  Everything about that day was perfect. It was at a chapel in Alpine and the cultural hall was all done up and it looked fantastic!

9 - How was the honeymoon?
Thanks to our office we had a wonderful time in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico! They surprised us with the great wedding gift of a honeymoon in Mexico! It was so nice lying on the beach all day and being with my hubby!

10 - TAG!
I tag Abby and Lindsay!

Our Beautiful Kids

Here is a picture of our two adorable children! I know I am a little biased , but seriously, I couldn't have asked for a more perfect family. They bring such a sweet spirit into our home and I love them like crazy and it just seems to grow more and more every day... if that is at all possible!

The Bean Museum

A few days ago the kids and I went with my sister-in-law, Stacy, and her sisters and all of our kids to the Bean Museum at BYU to see the animals.  The kids all had a great time and so did the mom's to be able to get some girl time in.  All in all it was a great day!
