We went to the animal fair....

Actually it was the zoo. We went twice this last week since the weather was so nice.  Once on Tuesday with Darren and on Thursday with my mom and dad while Darren was working.  We decided we should go since there is limited time for this great weather.  Both days all of the animals were out.  It was so much fun and we had a great time.  It is more and more fun each time we go since Brinley is always learning something new to say or do.. Beckham was asleep most of the time and that is why he isn't in a lot of pictures.  Brinley was so cute, she was afraid we were going to leave after each animal so she would look at us and say "one more, one more". So we would go to the next animal. She is our little animal lover and would go to the zoo everyday if we lived closer.
Brin and Grandpa.. Brinley calls him "papoo"
Brin and Grandma
I love this picture.. she looks SO tiny
Brinley didn't want either of us to hold her for this picture, she wanted to sit on the gorilla's lap.
Riding the tigers with daddy, we love it when he can spend the day with us, he always makes it so much more fun!
Beckham finally woke up, so we needed to get a picture with him in it!

FINALLY!!

Well, I have finally finished Brinley's room and I say finally because it has been partially finished for about 4 months now.  I have been looking for a bed for what seems like forever and I finally found one that wasn't a small fortune.  I found it on KSL brand new still in the box for $100. That's right.  I called about 4 minutes after it had been posted and luckily it was in Payson so I picked it up that afternoon. YEAH!!  So I went and got some bedding and window treatments and some last finishing touches and I love it!! A room fit for a princess. Hopefully she will do well with the transition.  She slept in it last night for the first time and did great, although she was half asleep when we put her in there. But with a little luck I think she will do great! Here is the finished product...

BYU Game

We enjoyed another BYU game today!! We are loving this.  Although this time we decided to bring Brinley with us.  She was so good (well as good as a two year old can be) but it was so hot and there was no where for her to really stand so we ended up leaving at half time.  But it was still a good time and a great game.
We got our picture taken with Ty Detmer and Reno Mahe and a signed ball

Enjoying a snowcone with daddy!

Beckham

My little Beckham is getting so big already.  He is now ten weeks and smiling all the time.  He will even giggle now and then which is one of the sweetest sounds I have ever heard. A couple of days ago he started rolling from his stomach to his back.. I swear my kids just like to do things early.  He is almost able to roll from his back to his stomach too.  So crazy. Well I got it on video the other day along with some really cute pictures.

I Love to See The Temple

Darren's brother Cameron also flew in for the weekend to see the game and stayed with us which was a fun treat. Brinley loves all of her uncle's and loved waking up Saturday morning to see her uncle Cam.  We took him to the airport on Sunday morning and thought since we wouldn't make it to church on time we would take advantage of Brinley being at her grandparents house and tood a quiet walk around temple square. It was so peaceful and beautiful.  It is amazing to think that Darren and I were sealed there almost 3 years ago.  It is such a beautiful temple and I love the history behind it.  Here are a few pictures Darren took which turned out so good!
After the temple we went and walked around Gateway since we had time to spare before we needed to pick up Brin.  It was such a nice day, so we enjoyed the sunshine without any crowds which was really nice (I'm not a big crowd person). I love my hubby and was so glad I got to spend a nice quiet day with him..

Go Cougars!!!

Wow! What a fun game, we totally killed UCLA.  We were lucky enough to go to the game and had so much fun!  We had fantastic seats right in the end zone where they scored all their touchdowns. 52 of the 59 points were scored right in front of us! Brinley stayed the night at her grandma and grandpa's house and we took Beckham to the game and he was so good the whole time! GO COUGARS!!

Payson Onion Days

Payson Onion Days was over Labor Day weekend. Monday morning we decided we were going to take the kids to the parade.  We went with our good friends that live across the street from us.  It was a great time... until it started to rain.  I'm not talking just a little trickle.  It was a down pour. Then to make it worse, the wind started up so it was blowing the rain and it was FREEZING!  We had walked to the parade and Darren and I ran the whole way home so the kids wouldn't get too wet.  Beckham was dry under the stroller and a blanket the whole time, but poor Brinley was soaked!  Well, at least it will make a great memory!!
Brinley and Tre.. they are great buddies

It was just a little sprinkle when this picture was taken, cause the umbrella didn't do any good once the rain picked up.

Brinley picking which candy she wanted to eat right then..

We did find some shelter to try and wait out the worst of the storm. Poor Brinley was shaking she was so cold.

Makeover Madness

So yesterday my mother-in-law came in to get her hair done and pretty much gave me free reign on her hair. I was way excited for that because I had been wanting to do what I wanted on it for a while now.  And it turned out PERFECT!! I love it! I hope she will do it like that more often now that she knows how easy it is.  The color looks so great on her too! Here are some before and after pictures.  The before ones are just pictures that I happen to have. The afters didn't turn out all that great because of the lighting, but here they are.

This is how she ALWAYS wore her hair...

This is a side view and a good picture of the color.

Here is a front view, but like I said the lighting was awful.

To Grandmother's House We Go....

Brinley and Grandma
Sliding down was her favorite part..
A couple of weeks ago Darren and his brothers went to Las Vegas for the weekend on a brother's trip.  They had a blast! While they were having fun lounging by the pool, shopping, seeing shows and gambling, I took the kids to my mom and dad's house.  We also had so much fun staying for the weekend with grandma and grandpa.  My parents loved having the kids there.  We went swimming at their neighbors house and lots of other fun stuff.  Brinley was struggling a little bit on her sleeping schedule while we were there.  While she usually wakes up at about 9:00 am she was waking up at around 6:30 there.  So on Sunday morning when she woke up early I took her downstairs and put on little mermaid for her and then I went back upstairs and into bed.  My mom came down about an hour later and this is how she found her. She wore her uncle Brad's t-shirt as pajamas that night and it was a little big.  She sure does love her books!
