Once There Was A Snowman...

Yes, I am a slacker.  Among all the hustle and bustle of Christmas I left my camera in Layton during one of our Christmas parties.  So we didn't get any pictures of Christmas day.  We got video, just not pictures.  Brinley got some snow boots and so the day after Christmas she kept wanting to go outside.  So we went out with her and built and snowman and made snow angels.  She keeps calling her snowman Frosty and wants to sing the song everytime she sees him.  It was fun that she got to participate in the snowman building this year.  More pictures of our Christmas shananagans to come.
Once there was a snowman tall tall tall.

It was freezing.  It snow ALL DAY LONG
What a trooper.  She laughed and played the entire time!

Cousins

Beckham and Jace got the exact same outfit for Christmas and wasn't planned or anything.  They are only four months apart and already great friends.  Jace will climb all over Beckham and take his binky.  Luckily Beckham is usually pretty laid back about it.  Just wait till he starts crawling in a few weeks and he can chase Jace around...
Beckham was so happy, so all of the pictures his mouth is wide open from laughing...

Ho Ho Ho

So about a week ago Darren and I along with my mom and dad and sister, Linsey, took the kids to the mall to see Santa.  Brinley was so excited when she saw all the big presents and reindeer that surrounded the big chair.  Then when we got up there, she was a little shy and apprehensive about sitting on Santa's lap.  But when she found out she got candy afterwards she was a trooper and hopped right up.  Beckham just sat there and looked at Santa not knowing what to think. It was so fun, especially since Brinley is understanding more this year.  Happy Holidays!!

Thanksgiving...

Thanksgiving was a blast!!! We had all of Darren's brother's and their families here but one. (We  missed you Cam and Lori!) It was so fun.  I wish we were able to do that more often.  Thanksgiving dinner was fantastic! My mother in law did a great job on all of the food and we all ate to our hearts content!!
My sister in law, Jenni, made the cutest turkey hats for the kids an
d place mats of turnkey's made with each of the kids hands...
Jess Merrifield made the name tags which were so cute.. All of the place settings looked as good as mine!
Brinley loved helping Nana in the kitchen make homemade rolls!
Here are a few of the many things I am thankful for...
To be married to my best friend for eternity. I couldn't imagine my life with anyone else
My beautiful, healthy children. I can see the light of Christ in their eyes every day
My family on both sides, I couldn't ask for more support and love from each of you
My Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and His Infinite Atonement

So my brother and sister in law came with their two kids from Arizona to spend Thanksgiving with all of us.  We were lucky enough to have them for two weeks.  We had such a blast.  Carter and Brinley are only a month apart and are such good buddies. They are actually more like brother and sister, one minute they are playing and having fun and the next they are wanting to pull each others hair out. I wish they lived closer so we could hang out together all the time.  We seriously had SO much fun.  We went to the Lehi Legacy Center and shopping, to the Bean Museum and just had fun being together.  The sister's in law even went to the midnight movie of Twilight with my mother in law.  SO FUN!!

The Merrifield's came from Rexberg and had Thanksgiving with us. Here is their twins Kensie and Gabbie, Carter and Brinley getting ready to watch Lion King.

It's Always fun when Grandpa comes....

My Great Grandpa Riley is living in the basement of my parent's house, so it is a treat to be able to see him often.  We decided to get a picture of Beckham with his great great grandpa.  We are so lucky that the kids are able to spend time with such a special man.
I love Bekham's face in this picture..
