Nampa, Idaho

My brother just got called to serve his mission in Nampa, Idaho!  He is SO excited and I couldn't be happier for him!  He has come a long way in the last year and I am so proud of him.  He will be such a great missionary!

Happy Father's Day

I couldn't have asked for a better dad to our kids.  He is loving and fun and is always willing to play with our kids. Darren is a hand's on dad and it shows in the way our kids adore him.  I knew I was picking a winner when I married him, but I only dreamed of what a good dad he would be.  It's a great feeling to know he has surpassed those dreams.  We love you Darren!!

Brinley Graduates Kindergarten

Today Brinley Graduated Kindergarten.  To some this may not seem like a big deal.. To me, it was all I could do to not cry my eyes out.  I am already freaking out about her going to "big" school.  How did this happen so fast?  I know everyone says that, but really, it's true.  I feel like time walked right up and slapped me in the face.  She is a teacher's dream and I know her teacher felt the same.  So proud to be her mom.

I love the kind of grandpa my dad is to my kids.  He is such an interactive grandpa and my kids love him!

Nature

We decided we wanted to go up Provo Canyon and do a little exploring.  I love Utah for this reason.  The mountains are right in our backyard and it is just a hop, skip and a jump to be able to be in a canyon.  I love the beauty here.  This is one of the many reasons why I am so happy we moved back.  I love that my kids get to explore and have a love for the outdoors like Darren and I do.

Old Spaghetti Factory

We had to go to Salt Lake and decided to stop at Old Spaghetti Factory for dinner.  So yummy!  I forgot how much we love this place!

Tulip Festival

I have always wanted to go to the tulip festival at Thanksgiving Point.  I have heard how beautiful it is, but have never been able to go.  I am so happy I took the kids.  It is absolutely breathtaking and it really makes you stop and think about this beautiful world that we live in.
