Happy Halloween

Halloween was so much fun!! Brinley was a princess and she loved being in her costume.. Although she wasn't so sure about her hat at first. But after a while she kept taking it off and then putting it back on. We went to Darren's office for the office party which was fun. That night we went to Jared and Melissa Gray's house for a Halloween party. We had a blast there with all the food and people there. I was little red riding hood and Darren was David Beckham

Baby on the way

We found out in October that we are expecting number two. Due July 6, so hopefully it won't be too dreadfully hot. We are so excited to have a new addition to our little family. We think it is a girl, but we will find out for sure in about two weeks. We don't care either was as long as its healthy.

Pumpkin Carving

Carving pumpkins was interesting.. Brinley liked touching the insides, but she also wanted to eat it. So we had to try to get her to join in the fun without eatingthe yummy insides of our pumkins. But once we had them carved, we lit them and turned out all the lights. All we heard the whole time they were glowing was "oh wow" (her favorite saying)..

Fall Leaves

Darren was raking all of the leaves out of our yard and created a hugepile in the backyard. Since it was such a nice day, Brinley and I went out to join him.. Next thing we know Brinley is headed for the leaf pile. So we set her in there and she was entertained for a while.. She wasn't very happy when we took her out.

Brinley's 1st Birthday

Wow, how time flies!! Brinley turned one in October. I can't believe my little girl is one.. She had so much fun opening presents and digging into her cake. It was the first time she has really experienced presents and knew what to do. So fun!!

The Precious Bike

Our sometimes weekly bikerides are Brinley's (and Darren's) favorite part of the week. We started going for family home evening on Mondays but that has slowed down a bit.. We have a carrier for Brinley that she rides in. She absolutely loves it. At first she would just lay there and hang out, but then she started trying to stand up in it. So we started strapping her in even better, but she would still find some way out of the restraint and stand up. We finally figured it out and she will usually just sit there content knowing that she can't get out. Now anytime we go into the garage and she sees the bike she tries to get into it. She loves to be outside. If we are lucky, she will even fall asleep...

We went to the Spanish Fork rodeo about a month ago and had a blast. Brinley loved seeing all the sheep and horses and bulls. She was really good the almost the whole time until the end when she was ready for bed.

Brinley's Baby Einstein

Brinley loves her Baby Einstein videos. Which makes it very nice for mom. Whenever I need to get things done I can pop in a dvd and she will normally sit there in her little lamb chair and watch her show. When she hears the Disney music she gets really excited because she knows whats coming..

Brinley is getting so big.. she is ten months and she wants to walk so bad and takes between 10 and 20 steps before losing her balance. But she would rather walk than crawl. As soon as she falls, she crawls to the couch to stand back up and try again. We have all of her toys in this cupboard and she will pull out the the basket and throw all the toys on the ground. And then she will climb into the cupboard and play in there.

Well, we thought we would try to set up a website where everyone can go to see what we have been up to.. hopefully it will be a benefit!!
