Easter and a move

Well Arizona, you have been good to us.  We made many memories here and some life long friends.  It was so fun to live down the street from cousins and Nanny.  Easter morning found us at Landon and Jen's all packed up and ready to go.. Thankfully the Easter Bunny knew where to leave the kids baskets before we hit the road.

Easter Festivities

The night before our move also happened to be the night before Easter.  We stayed at Landon and Jen's that night and had a blast decorating Easter eggs. Thank goodness for Jen because if it were up to me I probably would have just put them to bed.. She is always so good about doing crafts.

Easter Pageant

We were able to go to the Easter Pageant at the Mesa Temple while my brother was in town to help us move.  I am so glad we got to go.  It was such a great experience and a spiritual one.  As Brad is preparing to go on a mission, it was a great experience to have with him. 

Cheer

Brinley was able to be involved in the school cheer club for a little while and she loved it.  They did a performance at the school fair and she did so great!

 Of course the other kids got to get in on the fun too...  Can't go wrong with face painting and carnival games..

Horseback Riding

Darren knows a guy that lives in Scottsdale that shows and trains Arabian horses.  He told Darren that we are welcome to come any time and ride them.  Today was the perfect day for that! Even Savannah got to ride.  She wasn't sure what she thought at first, but she didn't want to get off. 

   

  

  

Grandma and Grandpa Riley

 Grandma and Grandpa Riley stopped in Phoenix on their many travel and we were able to spend some time with them.  It was so fun to watch my grandpa interact with my kids.  He pushed them on the swings, read to them, and took them to McDonalds (by himself).  I am so grateful that my kids get to know their great grandparents.  I knew mine and had such great relationships with them.  So I am glad my kids get to experience that as well.

Dance Recital

Brinley had a dance recital and did AMAZING! She did one ballet performance and a tumbling routine.  Darren and I even participated.  Since it was near Christmas, the instructor want a depiction of the nativity.  So Darren and I were Mary and Joseph.
