Hubby Tag

Well, I was wondering when I was going to get tagged, I knew my turn was approaching. So here is the hubby tag. I am tagging Melissa Gray, Cymony Tarin and Stacy Burrup. Have fun guys!!

How long have you been married? A little over 2 1/2 years... One daughter and a boy on the way, I know we started way early

How old is your spouse? 35, what an old man

Who eats more? I think we probably eat the same amount.. I definately eat more junk food than he does, but we usually eat about the same.

Who said I love you first? I did, I said it one night before I went home and getting a goodnight kiss, he didn't say it till we were almost engaged..

Who is taller? Darren is I am 5'3" and he is 5'6"

Who sings better? Well we both sing to the radio.. I would say I am better cause I can actually hold a note.. Darren on the other hand, belts it out and sings at the top of his lungs not caring who hears or what he sounds like... embarrassing but definately more fun

Who is smarter? Darren hands down has more street smarts then me, I am always dumbfounded by some of the brilliant things he says and comebacks that just roll off the tongue.. I on the other hand am always left in the dust. In school I think I am better in English and he is way better in Math

Who controls the T.V. remote? Darren does, I could honestly say that 90% of the TV we watch is controlled by Darren. I usually don't mind and if I want to watch something else and he doesn't, I usually end up watching it in our room.

Whose temper is worse? I think we both have the same temperment, I am more quick to show it, he is more patient, but I think we are both pretty easy going

Who does the laundry? I do, but Darren will help out when I ask him to, and if he sees me folding the laundry he will come help

Who does the dishes? I do, I think the entire time we have been married I can count on one hand how many times Darren has done them.. But that is fine because I am kinda OCD and like things done a certain way, so no complaining there

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? If you’re looking at it, Darren does.. I am closer to the door so I can see into Brinley's room and can get out of bed easier when she needs me at night.

Who cooks dinner? When we actually cook, I do. Unless its the BBQ, then I leave that to Darren who cooks a mean steak.. I am trying to be better with the whole cooking thing though.

Who is more stubborn? I would say he is and he would say I am, but we are both equally stubborn... drives me crazy

Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? It depends on the situation... although I should say Darren because I HATE to admit I am wrong.

Whose parents do you see the most? Mine...

Who has more friends? Neither of us, we don't have friends.. sad I know. We hang out with his brother and his wife a lot who are so fun and when we aren't with them we are with eachother..

Who has more siblings? Darren does... 5 brothers, I have 2 sisters and 1 brother

Who wears the pants in the family? I think Darren does, but its more likely that it is an equal thing.

Zermatt Resort

This weekend we spent theweekend in Heber at the Zermatt Resort with 3 of Darren's brother's and their wives and kids. We had so much fun swimming and riding on the carousel and playing miniature golf. It was the perfect weekend for it and was especially nice to have a weekend getaway with family before Beckham is born, just 4 weeks left. As you can see Brinley had a blast. After each ride she wanted to change what animal she got to ride. When we were out of tokens she was so sad and kept crying "ride, ride" So we had to go to the pool to keep her entertained. A great weekend! This was my favorite one she rode, she looks so cute and girly on it

Golfing

Well tonight we went miniature golfing, we had such a blast. It was the first time we have been since we've had Brinley. We had so much fun. Darren won of course, but I was pretty close. At least we both got a hole in one. Brinley loved trying to hit the ball and taking it out of the hole afterwards. We did have a couple of incidents with her picking up our balls and throwing them onto the real grass, but we were glad to see that she had fun. Pool Worthy Weather

Yesterday we had the most beautiful weather... it was actually HOT outside!! So great! After driving around with Darren in the morning, we came home and decided we should break out the kiddie pool and see if Brinley wanted to play in the water. She loved it.. She kept riding on the big fish and sliding down the whale slide. Let me just tell you, I put my feet in the water and it was FREEZING. She could care less, she jumped in and acted like it was the best thing in the world. I don't know why I expected her to think it was too cold since she is my little fish and will play in anything wet. But here are some pictures of our first "summer days" this year.

Great Grandpa Maughan

This is Brinley's Great Grandpa Maughan.. She loves her grandparents. On Mother's Day we got together with Darren's mom and brother and sister in law and grandpa. It was such a great day. Brinley kept bringing books to Grandpa to read and they had so much fun together. I had to get a couple of pictures of them..

Duck, Duck, Goose

So there is a pond about two minutes away from our house and when the weather is nice, there are always ducks on it. On Tuesday since it was such perfect weather, Darren and I took Brinley to feed the ducks. We went last year, but she didn't get what was going on. This year she loved it!! She thought they were hilarious. She would try to throw the cracker as far as she could. There were a couple of times when she got a little nervous. There were more geese there than ducks, and everytime we would stop throwing food out, they would squak and it was really loud, scary poor Brinley to death. But as soon as they stopped she was fine and we had a great time... Being brave and feeding the ducks herself
