Vegas and Family Pictures

Last week we went to Vegas with all of Darren's brothers and their families. It was so much fun. We went to the pool everyday and to a few shows. Darren and I went to Phantom of the Opera one night, which was awesome!! We had to best seats. We were three rows back from the stage and dead center. Fantastic!! We also took the kids to a magic show, which they loved. The girls also took advantage of being together and we spent a day shopping and then went to The Price is Right that night. We had a blast! None of us got to go up, but it was still a blast. While we were all together we decided it was time for a much needed updated family picture. The last family picture the Burrup's had done only had 2 out of 6 sisters in law and 2 our of 15 grandchildren, so it was a little outdated to say the least... Here are a few of my favorites.. Enjoy! Packing / Moving

We're moving. I am super excited, about the moving part, not the packing part. Hours of boxing things up and sorting through everything has left me exhausted. And I'm still not done. The one thing I love about it is being able to dejunk. That is a great feeling. It is especially fun with two kids "helping" me pack everything up. Brinley is really excited and told my mom the other day (insert snotty voice here) "we are leaving this place"... what?! I promise I never said anything along those lines, but pretty funny anyway. I don't know if Beckham fully understands, but is excited because Brin is. Saturday is the big day, it's been a long time coming, and man I am excited!

Operation Smile 5k

Yesterday Darren and I ran a 5k for Operation Smile. We had a blast, even though it was FREEZING cold. Seriously, FREEZING. The race was up Provo canyon at Timpanogos Park. Half of the race was run in the snow since it had snowed the day before. There was a nice head wind too. But it really was still fun. I'm glad Darren and I did it together and that it was for such a great cause!! It will be fun to do it again next year.

Walking

Presley has been walking everywhere. If she falls, she stands right back up and walks again. She has been walking just as much if not more than she is crawling. When she goes a long way without falling she gets so excited. She looks for Darren and I and laughs and get so happy. I love that little stinker. Can't believe she will be a year this month

Finally some Pictures

Okay so I have been meaning to post these pictures for a couple of weeks and have finally gotten around to it. I gave Linsey the bedding at her shower a couple of weeks ago. So I can actually post pictures now that I have given it to her. Turned out so cute!

Darren asked me why I never made anything like that for our kids... But I never really got into sewing until a couple of years ago. Who knows, maybe I will for the next one. Right now I just can't wait to meet this nephew of mine!

Project

Aside from finishing the bedding for my sister's baby... which turned out really cute. (pictures to come soon) I also made my other sister, Courtney's bridesmaid dress this week. My cousin is getting married on Saturday and sent all the fabric for my sister's dress. I turned out really cute! Now I just pray it fits her since she lives two hours away.. We didn't really have time to try it on her properly at the stages we should have.... Cross your fingers! I will take pictures at the wedding. I am also doing my cousin's hair. So I will post how that turns out too! We're off to Idaho tomorrow.

Steps and a Jazz game

Last Saturday Darren and I went to dinner with my sister, Linsey and her hubby. We went to eat at Goodwood and then to a Jazz game. We had so much fun. I always have so much fun going out with my hubby!!!

Presley has been getting more and more daring. She stands by herself all the time and has been being brave and taking some steps. The most she has taken is 4. Getting so big!
