Murder in Margaritaland

So Friday we hosted a murder mystery dinner and let me just tell you it was so fun!! If you have never done one before let me just explain the gist of it.  You hand out invitations to everyone and with the invites you assign each person a character which tells them how to dress and who they are.  Everyone arrives that night and completes a set of objectives for their character, then someone "dies". After that person dies, everyone is given another set of objectives and who they should be suspicious of and why as they are trying to figure out who the "murderer" is.  After the investigation is over everyone looks at the evidence and casts their vote on who the killer is.  Let me just tell you, it was a hit. It was so much fun and everyone got so into their character. I am glad we had such a good turn out. We had a fantastic dinner thanks to my GREAT friend Becca who helped me do everything, complete with margaritas and all (virgin of course). Thank you everyone who came and participated, we had a blast and are glad we got to know each of you better... Here are all the couple and their characters....

Linsey

This last weekend we went up to Logan where my sister went through the Logan temple.  It was such a great experience to be with my husband and family and see my little sister make such a great decision and be there to witness that.  Linsey has always been such a great example to me and a wonderful sister.  She has always been there to listen and give advice.  She is such a pillar of strength in the gospel.  She has so much knowledge and ALWAYS has the Spirit with her so strongly.  She gets married tomorrow in the Mt. Timponogas Temple and I am so excited for her and know she will make a great wife and when the time comes, a fantastic mother. Thank you for always being such a great example to me. I love you Lins and am so proud of you!!

Growing, Growing, Grown...

Why does time go by so fast? Seriously. Brinley is talking more and more everyday, she is not just a baby anymore.  Not only is Beckham crawling, but he is pulling himself up onto things.  Already? He is not even 8 months yet. Slow down.  It's going by way too fast.

ISSE

The last weekend in January I was able to go the the ISSE Hair show in Long Beach, CA.  It was so much fun, we all had a blast!! They had so many fantastic deals on everything.  It was definitely worth it to go, especially since we got such a great deal!Yolinda, Julie and I on the plane ride there..
We spent the first day in LA and went to Hollywood Blvd.  Marilyn Monroe's handprints.

We got to meet and go to classes of the big wigs like Tabatha Coffey who has a show on Bravo called Tabatha's Salon Takeover and also Martin Parsons who has won the Lifetime Achievement Award and is an amazing hairdresser.
The classes were AMAZING and I learned a TON.
Can't wait to go next year!!!

Sick and Tired

Sick. All of us. You know what that means? No Sleep. Grumpy kids. Both fighting for mom to hold them. There will be doctors appointments tomorrow. There will hopefully be sleep tonight.But today is a movie day. Laying on the couch doing nothing. Exhausted.
